About me:
I’m from Tovaangar land (what is now called Los Angeles.) I’m a former DJ and a Gen-X Poet and Writer based in Scotland.
As co-director, sub-editor, and writer for the True & Woke blog and digital magazine, I wrote articles on equality, climate change, gender-based violence, and personal essays on living with a disability. I also co-hosted the True & Woke podcast, conversations with guests representing marginalised communities across the globe.
My portrait and words were part of photographer Nikki Kilburn’s ‘Our Voices’ project at the 2020 Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival and Edinburgh’s Fruitmarket Gallery. My writing has been published on Heroica and was included in the University of Lincoln’s virtual exhibition, ‘Rooms of Our Own: The Lockdown House’.
Currently, I am a freelance editor while I work on personal projects.
